Bringing a world premiere musical to the stage is a big investment. Tickets only cover about 50% of the annual operating cost for Trueheart Productions. While the cast on the stage may be similar in numbers to a play, a new musical requires an orchestra. As a small, non-profit arts organization, it takes the generosity of individuals to provide the most of funds that it takes to keep bringing new professional quality shows to Portland.
